Our goal is to put an end to the frustration experienced by elders, motion handicapped and general medication consuming population when trying to disclose "push and turn" style bottles.
The entrepreneur behind the Med-Pop is Meital Cohen, an experienced community pharmacist, with a strong perception of the market needs.
Working as a pharmacist she has encountered many people, older consumers in particular contending with reduced hand strength, who have complained about pharmaceutical packages. Some seniors found opening medicine containers so frustrating, even painful, that they took shortcuts. Common tricks have included leaving a cap loose or transferring pills to plastic sandwich bags.
